🚗 Getting There

Go off I-90 on Exit 45 (Forest Road 9030), cross under the freeway, and continue straight for one mile. At a split, go straight on road 9031 to a barricade. Follow the Mason Lake trail until its junction with the Bandera trail.

📝 Trip Notes

• This was one STEEP hike... most of the 2800 feet elevation gain occurs during the last mile and a half!
• Getting down was more difficult than ascending!
