🚗 Getting There

From Seattle take I-90 east to Exit 62. Turn left, following the signs for Kachess Campground. After five miles on FS Road 49, turn on FS Road 4930, and follow about four miles to the trailhead parking lot.

Scenic, but a crowded, very popular, overused trail
A heel blister cut our trip short, didn't continue to Rampart Lakes
Last mile to Rachel Lake is a rocky, rooty, 1300 foot gain!
